The UPXDS Association Inc. and the UPXDS International Association Inc. presented to Dr. Emerlinda R. Roman, President of the University of the Philippines a replica of the check worth P100,000 as the initial contribution of the XDS members to the scholarship programs of the university to poor and deserving students.

The check was presented to Dr. Roman by the representatives of the XDS members headed by Prof. Vic Isidro, President of the UPXDS Association and Jackie Calumba, Vice President of the UPXDS International Association during the Gabi ng Parangal at Pasasalamat held at the UP Bahay ng Alumni last December 17, 2006.
